Automation.com - Masplantiz announces MIMTIS software to connect devices via the web
October 14, 2009 - Masplantiz announced MIMTIS, an enterprise class software platform that allows enterprise applications to stay connected to remote assets and devices. MIMTIS platform standardizes the data and communication with diverse devices and assets, regardless of manufacturer or communication protocol, to enable the implementation of web-based enterprise solutions. Powerful, flexible and easy to use features allow enterprise applications to acquire, manage and analyze asset data in real time.
Masplantiz has successfully deployed MIMTIS based smart condition monitoring solution for one of India’s leading steel manufacturer. The system uses Zigbee nodes, coordinator and MIMTIS software platform to gather transformer data like - oil temperature, winding hotspot temperature and other vital parameters. The data can be viewed in real-time by their engineering team at the factory and is also stored in a central data base. The software allows users to view and analyze data for developing faults from any location over the internet using a web browser. The pilot is presently running on one transformer and once successful, the solution will be deployed across all transformers.
Masplantiz today launched version 2.0 of MIMTIS enterprise class machine-to-machine (M2M) software suite for smarter asset operations and customer services. This is the second stable release of MIMTIS. Few of the features that have been included are:
- Support for Zigbee network
- Support for GIS display
- Support for DIO implemented
- Support for current loop and differential sensors
Masplantiz and Scientific Controls signed a contract of partnership today. Masplantiz provides solutions in the field of remote monitoring and control. Scientific Control is into design, development and manufacturing of measurement instruments for more than 30 years. They are manufacturers of leading brands of measurement instruments like "OSMADIAL" and "SCIECON". The company has proven competency and know how in manufacturing of temperature, pressure, bearing temperature and transformer oil / winding temperature monitors. The partnership will help Masplantiz deliver end-to-end solutions to its condition monitoring market.
Masplantiz has been selected as the most promising startup in India by Businessworld. Businessworld is India’s leading business magazine. Masplantiz was selected by a 4-member jury consisting of top executives from GE, Philips, Intel and HCL Technology. The jury found it particularly impressive that Masplantiz has developed the core software on their own and the sensor and wireless communication device drivers by working with their producers. With big corporations in wind energy and power transformer businesses using Masplantiz system on a pilot basis for some time, the jury was sure about the sustainability of the business.
Masplantiz today launched version 1.0 of MIMTIS enterprise class machine-to-machine (M2M) software suite for smarter asset operations and customer services. The version 1.0 is the first stable release after the beta version and includes Ajax based web HMI and loads of new features like gauges and interactive trending tools. Supports for number of new hardware have been included in this release.
Masplantiz and MSR Electronics Gmbh have partnered for providing vibration monitoring solutions to their customers is India. MSR Electronics GmbH was established in 2006 following a management buyout of the measurement technology division of research and development company, Prospective Concepts A.G. (Zurich, Switzerland). MSR develops standard and application-specific data loggers for a broad range of uses, specializing in MEMS based vibration monitoring devices. The company also provides technology for modular measurement, sensors and electronics. The partnership will help MIMTIS to provide MEMS based vibration monitoring solutions to its existing customers.
Masplantiz and SMT & HYBRID Gmbh signed a contract of partnership today. Masplantiz provides solutions in the field of remote monitoring and control. SMT & HYBRID is a fully integrated provider for electronic production solutions, and is well known company in its field. Founded in 1990 in the city of Dresden, the company develops and manufactures state-of-the-art electronics according to individual request.
